For the mulled wine jelly, heat the wine together with the spices and the peels (use only the peels, not the white, otherwise it will become bitter) in a pot, but do not let it boil.

Remove the pot from the heat and let it steep for 2 hours. Then strain the spiced wine through a linen cloth, add lemon juice and, if necessary, add red wine to 750 ml.

Boil with the jelling sugar according to the package instructions.

Pour the mulled wine jelly into hot washed glasses and leave to cool.
