Clean and rinse gooseberries, bring to the boil with water and sugar on 3 or automatic hotplate 4-5, turn off hotplate.
Mix the cornflour with a little cold water, add to the gooseberries while stirring and bring to the boil briefly. Immediately pour into a glass bowl and cool.
Whip the cream until stiff or liquid and add the washed strawberries.
Place a spoonful in the bowl or add a tablespoon if necessary so that the glass does not crack.
